Pasture-fed cattle from New Zealand. Shabu cut from Sirloin meat. Perfect for steamboat or pan-fry. At home, pre-marinated the beef with sesame oil, mirin, grated ginger and soya sauce. Let the raw shabu soaked in the marination for half an hour in the fridge. Then, simply stir-fry the sliced onion with oil to golden brown and add in the raw marinated shabu. Top it off with seasame seeds and you are good to savour the dish.
